Spencer Guerena has represented injured plaintiffs in claims and lawsuits arising from the negligent and intentional misconduct of others. During law school, he clerked for the nation's top maritime plaintiff personal injury attorneys, assisting with Jones Act, LHWCA, and complex marine casualty insurance claims. Once licensed, Mr. Guerena worked for two years with premier Los Angeles-based insurance defense firms representing SCUBA professionals, physicians, insurance professionals, recreation activity providers, concert venue promoters, businesses and consumers in wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury claims. That hands-on, inside view of the insurance industry has made him well-equipped to know the insurance companies' tactics and weak points, and how to best capitalize on them.
Mr. Guerena now uses that unique experience to aggressively fight against insurance companies and their attorneys in order to maximize recoveries for people who have been injured. He specializes in serious injury lawsuits arising from automobile collisions, boating accidents, SCUBA diving accidents, medical negligence, legal malpractice, and insurance bad-faith claims. He understands how frustrating it can be when insurance companies ignore you and offer you a fraction of what your case is really worth. This is why he uses his experience fighting against insurers to get the most he can for you.
